Skyrim's co-lead designer was constructing real-time horse and cart journey and a dynamic civil battle: 'We had been fairly upset that didn't ship'


Bethesda RPGs are so massive and take such a very long time to develop that there is naturally rather a lot left on the chopping room flooring, leaving them to be found by modders and given a second life. One such dropped thought was Skyrim’s totally dynamic civil battle, co-lead designer and former Elder Scrolls loremaster Kurt Kuhlmann tells us.
