5-star alert at Rockstar North's Edinburgh HQ as emergency providers reply to 'structural harm' brought on by an exploding boiler


Seven Scottish Hearth and Rescue Service (SFRS) autos attended Rockstar North HQ in Edinburgh this morning, after an explosion rocked the constructing at round 5am native time. The fireplace crews spent round three hours securing the scene, with a cordon put in place across the constructing. No-one was injured in the course of the incident.

“We have been alerted at 5:02am on Monday, 19 January to attend an incident on Holyrood Highway, Edinburgh,” a SFRS spokesperson informed The Herald.

A Rockstar North spokesman stated that the explosion was all the way down to a “malfunction” in one of many constructing’s heating boilers.
