The vacuum connects to Dyson’s app, the place you will discover sources similar to tips on how to empty the dustbin and wash the filter, however not a lot else. This vacuum’s full title is the Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones, aptly named for the 4 fluffy cones contained in the vacuum head. Dyson’s earlier latest stick vacuums all have the Fluffy Optic cleaner head for vacuuming exhausting flooring. Whereas each have a fluffy curler bar, the Fluffycones have a conical form that Dyson says will detangle and take away hair moderately than the hair getting caught throughout it. It did detangle hair for me, however after I vacuumed up bigger parts of hair from my lavatory flooring (a spot the place many a stray hair involves die by the hands of my hairbrush, comb, and towel), it truly bunched up the hair right into a ball and spat it again out a number of instances earlier than lastly sucking it up into the dustbin.

Whereas the hair outcomes weren’t nice, I did love this vacuum for sucking up the cat litter that continuously plagues my dwelling. It did an important job with flour on my exhausting flooring and a stable job with dry oats, however it sometimes simply bumped the oats round as a substitute of instantly sucking them up. I used to be even capable of rapidly run it excessive of my carpet, however rolling backwards and forwards on the carpet a bunch did cease the cones.

The pinnacle is designed to maneuver in nearly any path. The cones make it simple to swivel round, and the inexperienced illuminating lights on the back and front aid you spot any particles you may in any other case miss. With its compact dimension that matches in difficult corners, the PencilVac lastly lets me vacuum up all of the litter across the base of my rest room and pedestal sink. It is a part of what makes me attain for this vacuum again and again, even after my robotic vacuum cleaned the day earlier than.
